Johannes Bousset

July 31, 1865 in Rehorst, Germany
1945

Johannes Bousset studied civil engineering and began his work at various railway directorates, spending most of his life working for the Berlin U-Bahn from 1902 to 1929. His constructions for the elevated railway sections are very striking in the cityscape. These sections also include U-Bahn stations such as Kottbusser Tor. In 1932, he therefore also became an expert consultant for the planning of the Moscow Metro. He died in 1945, with no cause of death given.
